At 78 years old Pepper has lived a full life. He served as a United States Marine in the Korean War. He was a decorated veteran and loved the Marine Corp. Semper Fi!
Pepper was a lifetime member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 281, U.A. with over 54 years of dedicated service. He was a superintendent for Automatic Fire Systems. Pepper was an officer of this Local for many years. He served on the Examining Board, the Finance Committee and the Executive Board. In 1989 Local 281 elected Pepper as its first Business Agent. He set the standard for all current and future Business Agents. He was a trustee for the Welfare Fund for over twenty years.
In his youth he was a fantastic softball player. He followed the Sprinkler Fitters Softball team, but his true love was the Chicago Cubs. He was an avid fan and rarely missed a game.
He brought joy to many and will be surely missed.
